Another great writer passes - Norman Mailer RIP...

Norman Mailer was one of the great writers of our time, who along with others such as Kurt Vonnegut, Ken Kesey, Hunter S. Thompson, and Tom Wolfe, helped to create a new style of writing.

His works included, "The Naked and the Dead", "Marilyn", "The Executioner's Song", and "Portrait of Picasso as a Young Man".

He died at age 84, Norman Mailer, RIP...

He was one of my favorite writers, not far down from Hunter Thompson

What's really sad is the lack of views this post will get vs if you had posted "guitar-hero malfunction" :(

His only book I ever read was Tough Guys Dont Dance and although the story was not great I really enjoyed his style. RIP.
