Point & Shoots for stock
 

Anyone using a point and shoot for a backup for stock photography or content when you're not lugging your main rig around.

What is the best quality point and shoots out there (photographer personal opinions please).

I don't care about the price tag. Image quality is all that matters.

I have used my Casio Exlim in the past... My old one was 6 megapixel and had no shutter sound so it could be used with video. The pictures were OK for use. Mostly used it for parties and such tho. I should be getting my new 10.1 megapixel any day now also..

Olypus FE-170 for point and shoots... solid lil cam.

I just seen this 12 MP quick shot of some sort at costco the other day... maybe it was office depot... anyway... only 250... i wonder how good it can be for only 250... but 12 MP for a SKINNY quick shot was tempting....

I'm sure you've heard it before, but MP should be one of the last things you're looking at, other than to make sure it's at least like, 3.

Look for quick shutter response, double-a's instead of proprietary battery, etc, etc.
