I love eBay!

I've been on a spending spree mostly rewarding my hard work by buying expensive shit for myself like cars, motorcycles, etc. I've been buying small items like computer parts for quite some time but decided to go balls to the wall and shop for larger items on eBay as well. I went around it the smart way, before I'd bid on an item I'd make sure to check it out. If something is out of state I'd arrange it to get checked out. Well, I just did the math and I saved close to $11K by buying on eBay vs buying it locally.

My latest purchase was a sports car that I got for 6K under KBB.

I am a believer.

Ebay sucked for me a while back with fucking idiots on it. But the past few weeks i've picked up some cool stuff with no fuss.

The way it should be...

Ebay is the best place to buy shit if you have the patience to dig for the deals.

You don't have to lie to make friends.

90% of what I own is from ebay LOL, HD camcorders, cars, everything in the car, the computers I am on, to the shirt on my back haha. I have even gotten laid cause of ebay :) I just wish they had not changed the rules in the adult section. It use to be a gold mine linking to your sites and now you can't do shit you even say most words or your auction is ended. Even creampie is banned now :(

We sold $12k worth of stuff on Ebay/Half last month and only had one scammer pop up...and in the end we were reimbursed thanks to Paypal Seller Protection.

I have no problem buying or selling anything on Ebay.

Be careful buying cars on ebay. I tried to buy cars twice on ebay- neither one worked out.

The first one was out in cali- I'm in FL so I was feeling funny about it, but I've shipped cars cross country before and I had it checked out and it was a hell of a deal. I spent alot of time talking to the owner, etc. After the auction ends / met the reserve, paid the deposit, etc when it's time to seal the deal the guy tries to ask for more money.... long story short I got my money back but wasted alot of time / effort.

A few years later I found another car on ebay and it was local- not like just around the corner, but it was in state. I didn't have it checked out because I was going to see it before forking over any cash. After the auction closed drove out to the boonies to go get the car and the guy lied about a bunch of shit so the deal was off. He was cool about it, he straight out lied about the condition of the car so that was that.. until 2 days later when his wife left some nasty feedback. I got it removed, but again- just added up to alot of time and effort.

I bought 2 cars this year on ebay a caddy STS and a Nissan 350Z roadster, saved $10k per car after all duties, taxes and import fee's, and a whack of other crap.

With the USD$ in the shitter it pays to buy everything stateside and bring it in, especially high ticket items like cars.

Yeah I just got a car off ebay 2 weeks ago. Saved almost 10k Vs local prices. Shit is crazy. I buy lots of things off ebay though, I just got of 14pack of printer ink for fax for $14. Best buy wanted more like $140 for that same ink.
