He is beat. The thread said people were emailing the tipper... so i assume the guy called the restaurant. Joe is screwed, and for trying to always sound so smart he didn't show any common sense whatsoever from the time the guy walked into the restaurant, to the time he finished posting on the OG.

He posted the guy's personal info? LMAO what a dumbass. He deserves to lose his job. He was bitching about getting a 12% gratuity instead of 20%, after waiving the 20% requirement. It seems to me he was gambling that the guy would be grateful and tip him even more, maybe 25% or 30%. Well his gamble didn't pay off. Tough titties. I never pay more than 12% anyway.

I hate how tipping became expected. The original purpose of tipping was as a gratuity for providing excellent and above normal service. But employers pay waiters lower than minimum wages and expect the customer to make up the difference with tips.

I work at a Citgo Refinery. But I don't get people mailing me tips everytime they gas up their vehicles.
