Do you remember where you where when Diana was killed?

Its the modern version of the JFK thing....

I had just arrived in Sydney from Adelaide.

GrouchyAdmin 11-15-2007 04:54 PM

I was trying to take some candid photographs...

Ok, now that I ruined the shitty joke for everyone else...

Fuck, 10 years ago? I was working. Same as now.

After Shock Media 11-15-2007 04:56 PM

Sorry but the teacher getting all blown up in the shuttle meant more to me as a young adult in comparison to Diana's death.

As with your liberal news agency getting things 12 years apart mixed together in an attempt to blame BU$H for it, before he was even in office.

CuriousToyBoy 11-15-2007 05:01 PM

I was in my corporate box at a Rugby League game in Brisbane... I have a picture somewhere of Diana's headshot on the closed circuit TV when they announced during the game.

Gave us something to talk about - the game was fucking dreadful.

Hey wait I do not watch fox, well occassionally I do but not Fox news.

Just was a thought bubble when you said the whole modern version line. Take no offense :upsidedow Though you are gay right? Maybe Diana did mean more to you. :winkwink:

justinsain 11-15-2007 05:06 PM

I was at Mons Venus in Tampa and walked across the street to my hotel to refresh the buzz I had going. I turned on the TV and there was the news. Talk about a buzz kill.

I went back to Mons and told a few girls what happened and they all said the same thing " Yeah right, are you high? "

lol - Di was a bit of a fag hag - she even married Charles for fucks sake....

My favorite royal quote is.....

Queen mother to her cook - 'This old queen is telling that old queen she wants her bloody breakfast'.....

WarChild 11-15-2007 05:07 PM

I was having a raging party at my house in Vancouver. When I found out I made everyone shut up while I turned the music down and turned the tv on. They weren't happy about it.

Brother Bilo 11-15-2007 05:08 PM

Actually, I don't really remember caring that much. I was maybe in high school or junior high, but it was just another car accident to me.

RuthB 11-15-2007 05:08 PM

I was online in a chat room, all my US friends were giving me their condolences as though it was a personal loss to me, just cos I was English.

teg0 11-15-2007 05:11 PM

I was on the couch watching tv.

BVF 11-15-2007 05:23 PM

no............

Vendot 11-15-2007 05:42 PM

I was back at uni a week early, shacked up in this stupid B&B swotting up for some september exam resits. I'll never forget that day, lucky they had a TV in the room or i wouldnt of known.

Jim_Gunn 11-15-2007 07:27 PM

I was in the Million Dollar Saloon up in Toronto trying to talk some stripper into making a porn movie with me and my female friend for the old "Canadian Beaver Hunt" VHS porn movie series that I was filming at the time when I saw the news on the tv. I couldn't care less about Princess Diana, but I recall other people thinking it was big news at the time. Funny, I also recall there being a pretty powerful earthquake that shook the hi-rise condo building that we were filming in that same trip. In my life I have experienced earthquakes once in New Jersey as a child and that one time up in Canada.

Spunky 11-15-2007 07:34 PM

I was on a date at a pub and it was on the TV.

JasonSmokes 11-15-2007 08:37 PM

playing pool at a local pool hall in North Bay and it was on TV.

bhutocracy 11-15-2007 08:44 PM

I can't believe I have to live in a world where this shit has an impact. I remember exactly where I was, which part of the old flat I was in and how incredibly shocked I was etc.
It's nauseating that we have to be that bombarded with the goings on of a useless royal CUNT that much you actually feel some kind of emotion or loss when they die.

PenisFace 11-15-2007 08:50 PM

I would have been 12 or 13 at the time (hint hint, I was probably jerking off in the bathroom to the lingerie section in the sears catalog)

deanberkeley 11-15-2007 09:25 PM

I was at home watching tv when it happend. I think I was getting ready for bed. I was in High School.

minniesoporno 11-15-2007 09:57 PM

I was in a place where I wish I could run and never remember. I can't even think about the Diana drama without balling my eyes cause of what happened to me 10 years ago.

harvey 11-15-2007 10:08 PM

I don't have a fucking idea, didn't care at all at that time and still can't understand all those crying as if the world lost another Gandhi or Martin Luther King or Guevara or someone who really made a difference, what a bunch of morons crying for somebody fucking an old (yet rich) fart.

madfuck 11-15-2007 10:17 PM

No i dnt and well i just dnt care either

bronco67 11-15-2007 10:25 PM

I think I was watching SNL and it was interrupted

tony286 11-15-2007 10:44 PM

dont remember it didnt have much of a effect on my life.

Violetta 11-16-2007 12:43 AM

cant really remember...

Vendot 11-16-2007 02:59 AM

If youre ever in Harrods, in London, go into the basement.... theres a small Diana & Dodi memorial.

Its quite nice but not many people know its there.

Sarah_Jayne 11-16-2007 03:10 AM

Yes but only because we were running an online newspaper at the time and it was an all nighter. I just wish they would shut up about it now.

Agree - when it comes to the hype and antics of the press over celebs, politicians and royalty - got the attention span of a sandfly.

Zuss 11-16-2007 03:32 AM

I don't care about royals. It had no effect on my life expect beeing annoyed by every damn tv station till 2 years of her death passed.

ADL Colin 11-16-2007 03:38 AM

Nope. It had no effect on me.

TG Rebecca 11-16-2007 10:08 AM

i was at my friends house. her mother was drunk and crying and being very emotional.

Sosa 11-16-2007 10:19 AM

I remember seeing a lot of the stuff on late night tv as I was trying to fall asleep. I as wondering who is Princess Diana. I was pretty young I think

Scott McD 11-16-2007 10:22 AM

I was in bed sleeping, when i got woke up by my mum. She was like "Diana is dead"

I said something like "coooool", then fell back asleep...

CyberHustler 11-16-2007 10:22 AM
