hello low lifes,

thought i would bring everybody up to speed as to what is going on with the whole situation.

the lawyer forwarded all the emails to my corporate office wed morning.
the lawyer stated how my rant was unprofessional, unethical, among many other things.

THe Company CEO called the branch AGM and ordered an
immediate Termination wed morning.

I went into work today and noticed i wasnt on the schedual and the AGM asked to speak with me in private and he regrettably had to fire one of his best employees.

When i came back home from work i had an agrument with my girlfriend about being fired that may have ultimatly lead to the end of our relationship because of "money problems". Beauitful timing, with the hollidays around the corner might i add.

All in all .....

i would say that the idiots on this board PROMOTED the violation of the freedom of speach on public chat rooms, somthing i thought you all stood up for. What is the world comming to when somone cant not openly voice their opinion in a public chat room without some other ass wipe going out of their way to forward the gossip to somone who would ACTUALLY CARE!?!?

This is a perfect example of how you idiots contributed to a violation of ones right to free speach, wich ended up in somone actually loosing their job.

Another note, those of you calling and emailing the lawyer, id be VERRY CAREFUL as he does intend to pursue civil suits for harrassment, slander and defamation if they do continue.

As for me, he is just happy that i am fired, and he can go back and dine at the restaurant with a free mind knowing im not there....

I was thinking about not even telling you idiots about this, and just letting you troll around the board about the topic, because its your highest priority and the only fraction of entertainment you cherish for the day. he might even go after YOU assholes for being so stupid! Phone calls!?!? Overrexagerated rants about my blog sent in mass mail??!?! and you thought i was dumb...your the ones skirmishing the incident directly to his office!

To those who posted who took my side, i applaud you, simply because you know how to be gratuitous and you have some restaurant sense. you are also probably decent people at heart.

To the people in other countries, the tip system is different, if exsistant at all and i understand that.

Everyone else...all you "bad tippers" maybe one day your kid or grandchild will be waiting tables as they go thru college, and they get to deal with people just like you, low class, malicious, degenerates with no sense of common curtosy, and they will have to suffer.

as for me i always keep "an ace in the hole" and i will be employed elsewhere by the end of next week and will continue going to school to pursue my career.....outside of the "Service Industry"...its a good thing that im good at what i do.

Final bit of advice on this ---

If you ever do land another waitering gig at another restaurant, never, repeat: NEVER, post the name of that establishment on the web, at least not under your present nickname. One quick emailing of a few of these links to your new bosses and no restaurant owner in his right mind would keep you on staff after what you did crying like a bitch over a $200 tip and posting personal information about a customer etc. You can bet your ass that someone here or somewhere would send such an email.

Anyway good luck. Let us know where you end up at waiting tables. :D

While I agree that forwarding the info onwards was the wrong thing to do for people with no interest in the matter, but you really do need to step up and take ownership that you have absolutely nobody to blame for all this but yourself. You named names in your rant and its pretty hard to do that and not expect it to bite you in the ass.

As Tony said what if nobody forwarded this on to the lawyer but all of a sudden people when searching for him in google run across your thread? Same thing would have happen. Unfortunately this falls 100% on your head and started with the bad decision to remove the 20% tip and ended with your naming names in a thread on GFY. Take it as a life lesson and move on.

I agree. Since this forum's membership cost him his job, for no good reason, one of the people that fucked him ought to be made to replace it.

You know what the sad thing about this is, Ron could have turned this around and made it speak really positively for his firm. He could have came on here, explained what the deal was and even apologized that he felt the waiter didn't get what he should have and either said why it was the way it was or offered to send a sufficient tip as a gesture of good will or something to that effect. It would have spoke volumes and Ron probably would have gotten some business from this board for the gesture.

But instead, he flexed his muscle and did what asshole lawyers do best: hurt people just trying to make a living who can least afford to take the fall. A fucking parasite.

And I'll tell you what, the restaurant owner should grow a set and stick up for his employees. I have never let customers tell me who I do business with or who I hire and who I fire. My business, my investment, don't like it, go somewhere else but you are a customer and customers don't call the shots about business decisions.

Un-fucking-believable. This place is so not cool sometimes. And Ron Weiner deserves any bad reputation he got out of this. He is an asshole.
