I know it's pretty sad... but at least I do have some traffic. I purchased a TOTAL of only 2k hits of traffic (free for verifying my CC on choker), the rest is all natural- from search engines and link trades.

This place really went downhill once they started allowing people to sell their sigs.

Before, when sig sales and pay per post weren't allowed, we had a shitload of surfers lurking, but they didn't post, they just came to see some skin or they were curious what the people in the biz were talking about.

Once they allowed sig sales and pay per post every surfer/lurker registered and started posting mindless drivel and adolescent bullshit because now they could make $50+ a month while they looked at porn.
Then in order to keep their announcement threads on the front page sponsors had to offer money for certain post #'s or else their threads would be buried on page 5 behind all of the "would you hit it" threads....and that made the problem even worse.

Now you've got 17 year old porn surfers, living at home with their parents, getting a couple hundred a month for their sig, winning ipods for getting post #250 in a contest thread, and pissing all over the place while popping into the torrent/tube threads telling us we don't know how to run a business and we need to adapt so they can jerk off for free.

This on a board that was supposed to be "where the industry meets", not where our customers meet.

It's a pretty sad state of affairs

I chose to keep it low profile. I do not hide who I really am, but I don't brag about it either. I enjoy the fact that most people think a measly web directory is all I could mount in life. Adult is my side gig, because my personal photography site ranks on first page of all three major search engines for such popular keywords phrases as "nude photography", "erotic photos", "nude", etc. But do i need to brag about it? No. When a right thread comes and someone's looking for quality search engine traffic, i offer a link on my site. I provide all details via email.

So to conclude - not everyone feels the need to brag about their achievements. I for one prefer to be one of the most successful webmasters on here and at the same the one everyone thinks is the biggest loser.
