Help with jammed camera, can't open battery holder

I think I didn't insert the lithium battery in correctly in my digital camera and the battery holder is
sort of jammed now; it has a button that you're supposed to push and then you slide it out, but it's stuck now and won't open. Any tricks or trips to get it open?

lol, never mind, i was able to open it by using a small screwdriver to nudge it open. thanks anyways for your HELPFUL suggestions ;)

What the fuck? These things are built so you can't fuck up. If you put in the wrong way around you have to FORCE the thing in there.

No alarms went of inside your head?
