I can understand looking at other tattoos for ideas I guess, but for myself I prefer to get tattoos that really mean something to me, or come from my own ideas. The tattoo artist's job is to take your idea and help you develop it into something they can ink onto your body.

Make sure she at least finds a really great artist when she has her idea.

Not a good idea to get a tattoo before knowing what you really want in the first place. The motivation should come from the idea of the tattoo and not the idea of getting some tattoo. :2 cents:

I'm going tomorrow to get traditional swallows done on both shoulder/chest. I've always like the way they look and I'm starting to like the old school designs more and more. I'll post pics after.
