Odds For New England To Finish Season 16-0

The bookmakers here have the prices at :

Yes - 5/6

No - 5/6

So not a bad bet to try and double my betting money. So what would you go for ??

I'm thinking 'No' just now, but i'm not sure what game i think they'll slip up at... :upsidedow

Scott McD 11-20-2007 08:51 AM

Oh yeah, and how about :

Miami Dolphins ( To Lose Every Game And Go 0-16 In Regular Season )

No - 1/6

Yes - 7/2

:1orglaugh:1orglaugh

fris 11-20-2007 08:51 AM

i think they will lose 1 game

dissipate 11-20-2007 08:58 AM

I don't think they'll lose in the regular season. They're just too shit hot right now.

KILL_FRENZY 11-20-2007 11:36 AM

Pats are really good this season

Shagbunny 11-20-2007 11:36 AM

i think they're a safe bet for a perfect season

Snake Doctor 11-20-2007 11:40 AM

Ouch, that sucks about the dolphins.

I wonder what the line would be if you took dolphins won't go 0-16, New England won't go 16-0, and the dolphins will beat new england when they meet for each teams only win and loss, respectively.

That's gotta be over 100/1

Sick Bastard 11-20-2007 11:42 AM

19-0 is more like it.

CamJack 11-20-2007 11:56 AM

Miami will take them down the last game of the year.
Who will give me 20 to 1 on that?

howard 11-20-2007 11:58 AM

Bill Bellichek might not play 1 starter last 2 weeks of season..he could give a flying fuck about going undefeated...just super bowl wins...and btw Tom Brady's backup BLOWS.....

Bill Belichick will play the starters in those last few games. We'll be up 52-0 in the first half of those games, so yes the bench will see action, but they won't start. But we aren't going to stop playing the starters. He's pissed and inspired- a dangerous combo for all opponents. Bow down, BITCHEZ!

Good point. However, I kinda disagree. you know they feel like they have something to prove every since they got caught stealing plays. Thus the reason he ran the score up again last week. It's hard to tell with that guy. If i were coaching I would sit the starters but this guy is on a mission.

I disagree. He's out to make a statement...after the whole spygate thing and people saying that's how they won those superbowls, because they only won them by 3 points each....so he's determined to make every game this year a blowout.

That's why Brady is still playing in the 4th quarter when they're up by 3 touchdowns.

Nobody is riding the bench the last 2 or 3 games unless they've already lost a game.

Maybe that's the train of thought when you're sitting in Philidelphia. But the consensus over here in Boston in the newspapers and on sports radio is that Bill is going for the undefeated season.

The first 10 games is proof enough that he is a man on a mission. Brady has come back out on to the field after accumulating what are essentially insurmountable leads....by halftime.

This is the greatest team football has ever seen and he will make sure to leave his mark on history by being the second team in HISTORY to go undefeated and beating the single season mark of 17-0 with a 19-0 mark.

This is essentially one of the hardest records in Pro SPORTS history. No way Bill is letting this one get by.

And then with the way things are going, the Celtics will win the NBA championship and Boston fans will become really unbearable. :(

howard 11-20-2007 12:22 PM

GUYS---in my opinion--your wrong. Why--becasue he is a winner. Always with his eyes on the big prize. A man that good at what he does will never change his thinking. And that is-- he is the best --and Don shula can suck his cock. Shula is a media whore and has name on returaunts. Bellicek is the opposite. I can even picture his losing on purpose just to make a point that its MEANGINGLESS compared to super bowls won

howard 11-20-2007 12:23 PM

and truth is BRADY goes down and your done...so think smart...

I'm only 26 so I can't really speak for the people who were waiting 80 plus years to see the Sox win again.....but I did sit through watching Roger Clemens , Wade Boggs, Mo Vaughn, and Nomar Garciapara walk out the door. I also watched what I thought would be our last chance ever vaporize after Grady Little kept Pedro Martinez in the game.

I suffered through the 1-15 Patriots season on cold metal benches at Foxboro Stadium when you could get pretty decent seats for $30.

I was here when Reggie Lewis died and Larry Bird got old and retired. I watched as Rick Pitino came and went almost as quickly as our draft lottery Tim Duncan ball. Then winced when Danny Ainge came riding into town like a savior only to completely destroy our team attempting to "get young".

So I can empathize a little...

But then Bill Parcells came riding into town like Zorro. Though he wasn't here long he gave us our first Super Bowl taste, laid the foundation, and wet Bill Belichicks appetite for New England. A beautiful hit on Drew Bledsoe changed the course of Football history forever....3 Super Bowls later.

the planets started to align

then Tom Werner came through. Brought the big bucks and Curt Schilling with him. Boy genius Theo Epstein snapped up a bunch of young quality players. We were getting younger. The Yankees....older. 2 World Series later.

Danny Ainge finally came to his senses. Grabs a veteran player to compliment Paul Pierce. It's bait. Kevin Garnett is all too happy to become a gift from Kevin Mchale....A sure shot at the NBA Championship.

Alas the planets have aligned in Boston. The greatest sports fans in this country.

Philly is definitely number 2.

THANKS but we aint number 2..

Being a loyal Philly fan is like being a woman in an abusive marraige and tolerating it forever. I got so many bruises.

howard 11-20-2007 01:16 PM

ITS 25 years since any title won in philly. . So, for flyers, phillies, 76ers, eagles COMBINED have played for 100 years and never WON. WE OUR CURSED. Its almost impossible to go 25 years and 1 of your 4 major sports fanchises not win. Just by dumb luck there should be a few titles. .

Bashing Don Shula is totally uneccessary. Why is it Shula's fault that the Pats got caught cheating?

Based on your logic Hank Aaron should have to suck Barry Bond's cock too. :helpme

1. The blasting of Don Shula is because of his arrogance about the situation and the truth.

2. BAD ANNALOGY DUDE----SO you saying Don Shula is hank arron and barry bonds is Bill bellchek. Barry couldnt lick the sweat off of Bill's balls as fas as accomplishments that actually mean anything.

Jensen 11-20-2007 02:55 PM

ps.. Pinnacle is offering 2.38 for the NO so grab that instead (thats about 30% better odds)

I'm saying one person cheats, another person says something about it...and now the guy who says something about it is the asshole?

Get a grip dude.
