Having briefly looked at the growth, traffic, niche and revenue for these blogs, one can come to a few general conclusions. While they may be relevant to most bloggers, they might not apply to some outstanding bloggers within any particular niche.

2. The niche you choose affects how much money you will eventually make. Some niches are almost inherently easier to monetize. (Tech>Humor)

good point, some obvious take a big risk and fly by the seat of their pants hoping to fly under the radar or they have no assets to lose if they were sued anyways

Not sure about being a feed subscriber, but I would check it once every few days to check it out... and really, it's not much work, just setup the blog, get some free template, put some ads on the site, and make a few bucks for pretty much the same amount of work you already do by posting stuff on gfy... you could probably have the thing running in less than an hour, total cost $10 for the domain name...

Damn it doesn't take much. Shit I need to get some of that blog paper. I got a nice niche celeb name waiting for me.
