I need a free one that does it the other way around :)

Finding something to convert from FLV to WMV is difficult...

I use videocharge to go from wmv to flv.. it hasn't worked for me going from flv to wmv... but haven't tried the new version...

there was a thread on jbm about this may 31... one of the ones recomended was http://www.videolan.org/. I think I tried it at that time with marginal results.

it's a pain in the ass to find the download link, but it's free and it works.

from flv to wmv? Well that might be weird because flv is like 15fps and wmv is 29 or something if I'm correct.

I've never tried to do a conversion like this actually - will it work? What does the end product look like?

flv to wmv is a bad idea, you will lose quality.

I could use a wmv >flv converter... all the ones i've tried don't seem to work on some of my old ass wmv files to flv.

there is a free version of flv - wmv software you can use here.

i have used it and its good, you lose quality but not too badly
