Debate:Freedom Fighters or Terrorists?
 

In WWII when Germany invaded France and French resistance fighters attacked the germans, they were labelled by the Germans as terrorists.

You must also remember in this debate that history is only written by those who win.


So what do you think, I have made it open ended on purpose

I think there is no comparison.

So you believe those french who attacked the nazi's in world war two were terrorists and simply not trying to get their land back?

anyway ill give another example, the palestines are labbelled as terrorirts, but they have had there land stolen by the isreali's

The Germanys were fighting half of Europe ... that would have made American, British, Canadian, Aussi troops supporters of terrorism for fighting alongside the French. There is no comparison.
