My Trillian does not show the status of other contacts anymore...

No, mine works. But do not upgrade to 6.0. There are annoying features. At least you can still chat with it...

Mine has been acting real screwy since the last update. Think I am going to roll it back.

Trillian is a crappy sotfware

I used to use trillian, then I found Miranda. Never looked back.

installed miranda and importing contacts and logs right now

i tried trillian 3.1 - but that POS can't import old trillian contacts correctly

different program - same shit :disgust

looks like ICQ changed something - contacts stored on their server work, contacts added just in trillian do not. fuckers :mad:

i see it confirmed now - ICQ itself has made changes to the protocol that make my old Trillian stop working. assholes.

Try Pidgin instead.

yeah, i installed trillian 3.1

ICQ does not support the old protocol anymore that allows adding people without authorization. that's why my old version does not show any people online anymore - i'm not the only one with this problem.

now i have to re-authorize 600 contacts - funny. but at least my folder structure and all logfiles are still there, that's why i'm not interested in any other clients.

I am having the same problem with Trillian 74. I got 3.1 but having the same program as you with the authorization :(
