what do u people think about it? |
Those same sources predicted it for 1999. They've always been right before so I guess it'll happen again!
|
well the 2000 thing was a computer's end of the world ..because of the 00 in date..
|
here is some stuff about it

He is pulling the date from the Mayan calendar which has never changed and it has always been 12/21/2012. Strange celestial alignments will be happening that day, and I do mean strange like how the fuck did they even have a slight clue its so fucking rare strange and other shit. However nothing in stone says it is the end, it very well can be the restart. Unfortunately the Christians in their infinite knowledge found these heathens and burnt up almost every damn written text they had. Which was beyond fucking sad. Though we do have a good understanding of their calendar the assorted cartooths (spelling), and what can be perceived as the end. |

Anyway, it's predicted ALL THE TIME and they're always right. Do a few searches in Google, I think you'll find these predictions dating back as far back as "scholars" have been writing. |
no more porn after 2012 :))))))))))))

I hope so....

5 more years.. okay.
|
several theories on that subject to look into.
the most likely, is that it is just going to change from the AGE of Jesus, Pisces, into the Age of Aquarius, the Water bringer. as our little solar system moves through the galaxy the stars and their relative position change It's the Age of Aquarius, you know that song? lol anyway some other theories suggest the earth will flip its axis, causing mass flooding and death, so lets hope for the best..lol |
Yes so make sure you spend all your money and rack up a bunch of bills before then..
|
Yep 21 December 2012 wil be end of the world, good luck everyone :D
|
isn't that about the same time the internet is supposed to overload with too much bandwidth due to the growth of tube sites all popping off zango installed viruses?

Some cult member predicting the world vs. ANCIENT predictions about an event that hasn't yet happened in anybody's lifetime on earth EVER is like night and day. |
I also hope that the end of the world doesn't come in 2012...I have no desire to be sitting in some barren wasteland all fucked up and starving saying "I told you so"...
But something could possibly happen and it might not even mean the end of the world but the end of the world AS WE KNOW IT..There is supposed to be some kind of cosmic alignment that will take place on that day and I don't know more about it to explain it properly. |

:1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh Best you can hope for now is a Christian style rapture so all the 'chosen people' will take a hike and the rest of us will be left to carry on as we always have. Is that a bad thing? |

I did a search, did you? There are plenty of predictions by scholars, profits, religions and so forth dating back thousands of years. But then you're the educated one. You would know better than documented facts. |
I believe like mayans, that there will be a transformation of conciousness. Evolution if you will. Intellectual Terrence Mckenna has done some great work in the field.
|
lol... I dont belive that no

Here's one link of mostly religious predictions as well as some others: http://www.bible.ca/pre-date-setters.htm Now then, need me to hold your hand some more or is there a grown up around who can help you use a search engine? |
i think that when each one of us dies, its the end of the world for us. after that it really doesn't matter.
|
Interestingly - in addition to the Mayan - its also the end of the I-Ching - as well as the exact date that the earth and sun will line up in the perfect magnetic center of the enormous black hole that exists in our part of the galaxy - which is predicted/acknowledged by "some" scientists to be the point at which the last major tectonic plate shift occured on our planet many tens of thousands of years ago - so the magnetic theory isnt a bad one scientifically - just kinda weird that it lines up with the two earliest religions/societies teachings from the Mayan and IChing writings
Of course with the way things are going in the US right now - it probably would be a good thing to wipe out most of humanity |
there are numerous different doomsday predictions pertaining to 2012 and the end of the world. the mayan calender is only one of several. you have time wave theories regarding the i-ching, predictions from several well known oracles and prophets throught out history, and a couple others i know i've forgotten. theories regarding the outcome of polarity shift range anywhere from a massive outburst of natural disaster wiping life clean from the planet, to an ascension of consciousness and a bettering of mankind.
if you ask me they're all complete bullshit. ask me what is going to happen on dec 21 2012? i'm gonna get right shithammered at a doomsday party, pass out, and wake up hungover on dec 22 laughing at all the dipshits who went crazy preparing for the apocolypse. i don't understand how people figure the entire polarity of earth is going to shift in a period of minutes to a couple of days. can you seriously be that retarded? i'm gonna jump the gun and predict 2026 as the true end of the world. ye thats right, the end of the world will come in july of 2026. you heard it here first, get ready for the next apocolypse scare. it's just around the corner. we need a new one every 12-20 years don't you think? |

Either way, it's ridiculous. I sat and got stoned with this old hippy one day this summer who explained to me his theories on 2012. He was the first real living 2012 theorist I ever had pour his ideas out onto me. and in the few hours, i realized just what kind of people believe this shit. CRAZY PEOPLE. he was an awesome old hippy, and incredibly intelligent, but crazy indeed. you cn actually listen to an interview with him on youtube! https://youtube.com/watch?v=_DPpmbSJ37U https://youtube.com/watch?v=lVqlRQxQW-Y |

Just like most people, I do NOT want anything bad to happen or for there to be a catastrophic change for humankind...But for me to sit on my ass, smoke a blunt and laugh at any other point of view without first hearing it with an open mind is at the mountaintop of ignorance and you have reached the mountaintop.... Just because I don't want something to happen doesn't mean that I'm just going to convince myself that it won't happen and that anybody that does is crazy..That just makes ME look even more like the jackass, just like it's making YOU look like one. |
well finally!!
|
I believe 2012 will be the end of the world as much as y2k was

That site makes references to past and current predictions... they don't make predictions themselves. If you could read, you'd have realized that. But I'm sure just like the google thing, you didn't actually read. You just opened your mouth and stupidity poured out. |

There is something called coincidence, and the fact that multiple doomsday predictions just happen to land in the latter half of 2012 is likely one giant fucking coincidence. Nothing is going to happen in 2012 that didn't basically happen now in 2007, or y2k, or 1984, etc etc. It's just a bunch of paranoid garbage. The fact that the only person I've ever spoke to who honestly believes in the shit lives as a hermit in the backcountry, and believes he's a reincarnated hopi indian shaman, who studies an eclectic combination of hopi tradition/christianity/hindu/buddhism (ya, seriously, wtf?) doesn't exactly lend any credibility to the whole thing. I'm a pretty open person, I'm open to a lot of possibilities. But to put much faith into the 2012 prophecy is pretty ridiculous. I'd go out on a limb and bet I've read more on this topic than you have. The last time one of these "polar shifts" was supposed to have taken place was around the time of the building of the sphinx and the great pyramids. Do we have any historical evidence that anything took place the was of any significant took place to alter the course of mankind at this time? Not particularly... Believeing this shit is like believing you can actually make day to day judgements based upon your horoscope... |

The end of the world schedule for the nearest future
2008 — an asteroid more than ½ mile in diameter will fall on the Earth. 2009 — Armageddon will destroy the civilization, in accordance to Peter Lorie’s research on the Nostradamus’ Centuries. 2010 — the oil stock will be over and the whole world will start fighting for the natural resources. This year also Earth is promised to turn off the Sun. 2011 — the end of the Maya Calendar Cycle. The 2005 YU55 asteroid will possibly crash into our planet. 2012 — the most expected end of the world. Here come a lot of events, such as: the 5th Sun period, the Solar System will turn one of its sides to the axis of the Galaxy, all the cosmic cycles will be broken, the poles will switch upside down. Good news everyone! Indigo kids stand a chance to survive, as well as 0,5% of the population. 2013 — Doomsday. The day of the beginning and the end of everything! Hyper spatial passage to the 4th dimension will bring death to the mortals and birth to the Gods. 2014 — according to the astrophysicist’s research the solar system will sink into the cloud of cosmic dust, which will destroy everything on the planet. Pretty boring, hah? 2015 — the end of some 9576–year cycle that will put an end to the civilization. 2016 — the researcher of the climatic conditions James Hansen affirms that in 2016 all the glaciers will melt and the major part of the dry land will drown. 2017 — the end of the world will come in accordance with the hierarchical theory of disasters. 2018 — the nuclear war will start, following Nostradamus. 2019 — just commonplace crush of the Earth with the 2002 NT7 asteroid. 2020 — following the prediction of John the Baptist, Isaac Newton counted that the end of the world will occur exactly in 2020. |

You disbelieve in god and laugh at christian faith, yet you buy into Hopi prophecy predicting the end of all times? Of course there is proof that the planet's polarity can and does shift. The earth's axis is not absolutely fixed either. I don't dismiss the possibility that something could happen, but I do say that it's highly unlikely that anything out of the ordinary is going to occur. I highly doubt a polar shift will enlighten the people, or that we will ascend to a new level of consciousness. Nor do I believe that a sudden wave of natural disasters will blanket the earth in a matter of days. Possible yes, but then again there's a possibility that god truly exists if you want talk possibilities. There's a possibility that astral projection is real, and that the hahahahahahahahaha really does live in the rockies. Elvis is alive, and the illuminati bloodlines really are shape shifting reptilians out to overthrow the world and establish a one world order. Hell, Hitler was a secret Rothschild offspring planted and groomed for power & world domination. Prime Minister Mackenzie King's dead dog DID give him sound political advice form beyond the grave. All these things are possible, but at the same time all these things are pretty god damned unlikely. In a scale of likeliness, I'd put 2012 prophecy here.... gravity > 2012 prophecy > santa claus & the tooth fairy All I see is a bunch of people buying into the latest and greatest doomsday hype. Who in the end, are going to be proven wrong again. Have fun waiting for the world to come to cosmic end (or new beginning?) It's probably not going to happen. I think it's a lot more likely to happen that man blows the fucking shit out of the planet and kills himself off, than for any strange interstellar event to send us into the new age of enlightenment. Either way one side of the argument is not too far from being proven wrong. |
why does sas-quatch wordfilter out? lmfao...
