Why are Blonde jokes allowed and accepted?
 

I never meet any "dumb blondes" it's just a stereotype.

But why is the "blonde joke" so accepted like it's cool and not insulting.

What if there were "big nose" jokes? Like, if you have a big nose then you are dumb. Would that be accepted like blonde jokes?

People have natural blonde hair, it's not their fault.

Well personally I do not see how anyone can say blondes in general are dumb. Most blondes are actually natural brunettes who just dye their hair. There are very few natural blondes. Plus they are just jokes. I have heard brunette jokes too. :thumbsup

Some people are probably too young to know this but the whole ditzy/dumb blonde thing started (or at the very least took heavier root) in the 50's and 60's with Marilyn Monroe and of course Jane Mansfield.

Both had the part of the quintessential blonde bimbo down to a science. (both on film and in real life)

Think blond jokes go back to the 1800's when it was said that no one should vote for any politician that is blond. Wow ... when you think about it we haven't had that many blonds in the highest offices. Except Dan Quayl.
