I've wondered this for years, how the fuck do you think he pulls off this trick? It looks real as hell on the tv, but i dont believe it til i see it live

its easy, chris angel and others blew the trick for him... i used to thik it was real.. funny how david blaine exposes him as a trick when all of chris angels tricks are staged....

call me ignorant but how is it done?

two ways.... fake pants for tall levitation or misdirection for smaller levitation...

I have only seen video of Blaine doing the Balducci levitation. I don't know how anyone would be able to rise as high as you claim Blaine can without the assistance of wires or something.

those youtube levitations look superfake, only David gives them the "real" look

I don't know how but he is the man.

Of course David makes it look good. He is very skilled at the illusion and it is shot from flattering camera angles.

David rocks, I met him once and his shit is so good it's scary in person, fuck that guy on youtube, thats so fake it's almost funny, nothing compared to Blain...:2 cents::thumbsup
