Please rescue me.

Are you at your Indiana house?

While not a heat wave by any means, I should see highs in the 40's down in my area.

You are too far north. The world stops at Indy. Everything past that is the North Pole.

bronco67 12-05-2007 07:07 AM

I'm right with ya on that one. Give me 75-80 degrees and sunny all year round and I'll be happy. I need to get out to Cali.

Yes . . . while it is supposed to get to 72 at my CA home, the high today in the frozen tundra is expected to reach a balmy 27. Of course, it will feel like 18, but why quibble over 9 degrees, right?

tranza 12-05-2007 07:11 AM

I love winter............

I quibble over every degree. I begin my annual whine about the cold mid-October, and stop in early May.

I hate the cold. :(

And I am so cold natured that it is not even funny.

Get a snow plow and rescue me. I will reward you with hot cocoa and perhaps we can hold each other close for body heat.

AZ 4 life

Ross 12-05-2007 07:51 AM

My girlfriend would love that! She loves seasons. We don't really get it here, we tend to get Wet, Wetter and Wettest in Scotland. She loves the snow tho! She also loves the sun more I think. Me, give me nice weather every day of the year!

TG Rebecca 12-05-2007 07:57 AM

yeah, i'm not a fan of winter, either.. AT ALL. :)

Martin 12-05-2007 08:01 AM

Nothing like a little snow and cold snap to make a man of ya..

$hurik 12-05-2007 08:06 AM

looks cool, i like it. i wish we would have more snow here in NY

themonk 12-05-2007 08:15 AM

winter is fucking great in the place where i live t here are no winters at all .

Pornwolf 12-05-2007 08:17 AM

The fucking seasons are so overrated.

Someone please explain to me why the founding fathers picked the coldest part of the USA to settle in instead of the warmest parts?

NY, Chicago and all should be in Miami and LA and all the coastal cities in between.

tony286 12-05-2007 08:21 AM

if you hate the cold indiana is not the place to be. lol

C_U_Next_Tuesday 12-05-2007 08:33 AM

Bring on the snow!

baddog 12-05-2007 08:34 AM

Well, anyone that is a big fan of snow, I will get a cooler out and ship some to you. Need something to do with the stuff I have to go shovel off the driveway anyhow.

Well, if I can get to the airport, I leave tomorrow evening. I just talked to my daughter and she informed me that it is supposed to start raining there tomorrow night, just in time for my arrival . . . and will continue through the weekend.

Sosa 12-05-2007 08:50 AM

Such a short winter to complain about. Winter starts here in mid sept and ends at the end of June.

CDSmith 12-05-2007 08:53 AM

Don't fight it...

I've loved my first year of seasons, being a native south floridian. Spring was awesome, seeing the trees pop, variety of birds that show up different times of the year... Summer was warm (hot to northerners, mild to me) and perfect most days - the kind of perfect "warm in the sun cool in the shade" we'd get may be 4-5 days a year of in SoFla... Fall was GORGEOUS- the change of leaves was a progression of color, the feel in the air, the colors of the season come out, then Thanksgiving was actually very mild - low 70's, 50's at night, super nice - don't need an ac or heat on half the year in the spring and fall - just open the windows! Now it's our first winter hit, 36 out today and supposed to snow, I'm excited for it! Sure by Feb I'll be tired of being cold, but by April it all pops back again and another season of gardening - watching the flower bloom again, the winter birds leave and the spring birds come back..it's a refreshing cycle. I've been loving it. The only seasons I've known before were hurricane season and football season. Endless summers are overrated as well.

Violetta 12-05-2007 08:54 AM

winter is great... But summer is better

Babaganoosh 12-05-2007 08:57 AM

Winter sucks but it forces me to be more productive. No golf, no taking the hotrod out, no scantily clad women walking around downtown.

Florida's weather sucks with its humidity, so probably not a fair comparison.
