NFL should cut Randy Moss
He is a disgrace to all the kids that look up to professional athlete's and train to give their coaches 100% He is a complete moron with talent that is wasted!!!:feels-hot
|
Won't happen but I will cut your ass if I have to tell you again to get your sig in order. :321GFY
Sig rules are here... http://www.gofuckyourself.com/gfy_faqs.html |
agreed, the raw talent that guy has is better than any football player I've seen, just doesnt seem like he cares
|
if you cut him, you'd have to go through the entire nfl and do some serious weed control...

That's like saying the NBA should have cut Rodman.. no such thing as bad publicity, just another reason for people to watch, to see what happens next!

Dude its his job and if every employer fired their employees for shit that they do off work more than half of america would not have a job. Nosey mother fuckers should leave peoples private and personal life out of everyday business. Who cares if he is gay stupid ugly as long as his personal life stays at home and business life stays at work and they dont affect each other:2 cents:

Well his team suxs balls he needs to fine someone else to play for. The Radiers would be a good home for him.:winkwink: |
I agree Moss should get cut. He doesn't put any effort into a play unless the ball goes directly into his hands. He doesn't defend bad passes and let's the other team intercept it, then he won't even make the tackle. I wouldn't want him on my team.
|
Moss is an athlete, not a role model. If you teach your kids to use athletes as role models, you are the idiot.

He pushed a traffic cop with his suv almost half a block.
If the Vikings cut him tomorrow the Dallas Felons... err... Cowboys would sign him on Saturday. I'm just glad The Giants passed him up on draft day!! |
Cut him, naw. Hit him in the wallet. All his ass does is bitch. He is a talented player he is just spoiled. Seems he went to the same school of foolish behavior as Keyshawn (sp?) Johnson.
The Dawg |
What are you guys smoking? The motherfucker has 7 more years on his contract. That is SEVEN fucking years. Imagine the salary cap hit they'd eat? Fuck that noise, it'd be cheaper to lace his herb stash with some arsenic, or just jam a kilo of blow in his car and call the tip hotline - hello, officer? yeah, I just saw Randy fucking Moss cop a kilo right on the goddamn street. He's driving a Lexus, going south on whatever the fuck street.....
I don't personally care what he does off the field - LT was a big pile of shit with legs, and he was the greatest linebacker that ever fucking played. Moss is a sandbagger, and his effort is not worth the paycheck. |

For the most part, athletes have never been good role models, just like presidents and other leaders. In the past the press would not report on their indiscretions to preserve the public image of our "heros." Admire what they are good at, don't assume they have outstanding character because they can catch a football or hit a curve ball. |

I happen to live on Marquette ave in downtown, about 2 blocks from where that happened. Pretty funny, I wish to god I would have drove by that, but I wasn't that lucky.
Anyway, from what I understand the NFL has a "private drug policy" where they match doctors with players that they know have problems. They try to get the player help before suspending them. If the player has repeat offenses, suspension is possible. My opinions: 1) Pot is harmless, or close to it unless you are doing it every day for 30 years. 2) I would bet that 50% of NFL players smoke the shiz at least a couple times a year (at the minimum) 3) We ban moss, we ban half the NFL and next thing you know we are stuck watching baseball again wondering when the next strike will be. As a viking fan I suppose I am a bit biased, but hey, Moss is after all the best dam player in the league. Cutting a 10 million/year player on an 0-3 team would force half of this city to commit suicide. I say we keep him. :thumbsup |

B) If you work for XYZ Corp and you get busted, no one will care. No one will know who you work for and, unless you do something really heinous, it won't make the news. Everyone knows who these ball players are and who they work for so it reflects badly on the team and the NFL as a whole. SpaceAce |
I have no love for Moss.
That said, I do love the Vikes. Saying the Vikings suck now is true, but if you honestly thought that back two years ago when they were the #1 offense in the league.. heh. Oh well, perhaps one day we'll make it to the big one? ;) At least they made the first step and got rid of that fuckwad dennis green. Ugh. In any case, I think Moss is an immature little wannabe gangbanger who wants to look "cool" to his ex-peers. Perhaps he'll grow out of it, perhaps not. Who knows. His ego needs checking though. And his 75% bullshit is BULLSHIT. He should be BENCHED until he decides to give 100% all the time. If he's benched for the rest of his contract, he'll be worth shit when it's finally up. I hope someone gets the balls to do this for at least a game next time he decides to half-ass something. That said, if I were a betting man I'd be putting money left and right on his numbers this coming Sunday night. Remember, sunday night == National TV! Moss comes out of hiding. I bet 150+ yards and 10+ catches. Monday night/Sunday night the fucker actually plays to his full ability. Ah well, what a mess. Pick up probably the #1 draft pick in 5 years and he gets spoiled for good by denny green. If his ass would have been CHECKED as soon as problems became apparent, he probably wouldn't be such a dickwad these days. Little fuckers with egos need to die. -Phil |

Are you kidding me???? Please man..... Moss is FAR from the best player in the league. First of all, the best players in the league have HEART!! Moss has NONE! Him and his aligator arms that only want to try 25% of the time is more like a JOKE then the BEST player in the league! His talent is in the top ten. His reality is in line with "Meshawn Johnson" |
Steve,
How goes?! I've noticed your posting language has been getting more violent this year. Long hot summer? |
I can't stand him more and more..... He has the balls to say he did know about the pot in his ride. :1orglaugh He should just fess up and fuking take the rap! for him to say some friend drove his car earlier is just another reason I am naming him this years BuM of the year! :321GFY

My 18 year old and I have been debating all week as to whether there's too many breaks given to pro athletes and celebrities when it comes the law or if they receive harsher treatment and whether the whole "role model' thing should hold them to a higher standard.
All I know is...my son has waiting for 3 months to see Moss play in the new Seahawks stadium and Mike Tice coaching against the Seahawks instead of playing for them.....yeah.. even though it's two 0-3 teams, he won't forget going anytime soon. |
PersianKitty--
I think escaping punishment has a lot more to do with wealth, as opposed to celebrity. Celebrity sort of cancels out the wealth factor. It must be difficult to be "famous" or "infamous" and have your flaws discussed in the national media. People will treat you in a different regard b/c they think they know your personality, or your character on tv. I am relatively sure celebrity gradually distorts your ideals, personality and ethics--essentially your entire identity. You can never escape your success or your failure. Even worse, your entire life becomes a public spectacle. Shit. Britney can not get a little oral satisfaction without worrying about the impact it will have on her career. :1orglaugh |

From what our local news has been saying, Moss was also fined $25k by the club.
Should he lose his job? Tough question. Most people's argument is that what you do outside of work on your own time should be none of your employer's business. However, there does seem to be exceptions. For example, if the President were to pull the same shit, would his job and professional reputation be in deep shit? I think so. If one's actions away from work shed a negative light on the workplace, then yeah, there's going to be repercussions. I think the $25k fine is that repercussion this time. Next time (if there is one) might be much more in line with what bt_traffic is asking for. Oh, and go niners! |
I will never happen but I'd sure like to see the NFL put their foot down and ban him for life, no appeals, no crap, Just a swift kick in the ass...
