Had to reformat my laptop and reinstall xp.For some reason it became f: instead of c: . C: is now one of my card reader slots, my programs installed ok but now it seems sluggish. Could that be the cause?

you can run a drive mapping package, unmount your card first.

maybe some chipset drivers not installed too? That will slow crap down.
