I have just noticed that your no longer using ccbill.
I have links using ccbill code all over and had sales in the past. When did you change over and do I still get credit for the hits I send? |
|
Supposedly the old links still work. you don't have to change links. Usually it is better to switch them out though, since I'm sure there will be a day when the old links don't work anymore. It happens just about every time.
They sent me an email about this and I had to update some contact info. Did you receive that email? |

i hope i do not have to change the codes. i guess i will have to check my ccbill stats. |
I am unable to login with my ccbill info...
|
Looks like my Sat is going to be messing about with codes.
Great. |
By the way, please icq me or post in this thread if you have a goth site that uses ccbill.
I cannot be bothered to sign up to epos or whatever spookycash is now using. Oh well. |
I have spooky cash links up aas well. Whats the scoop?
|
I don't think you have to sign up for anything new. As far as I know, everyone that has a CCBill account with them has automatically been assigned a new account number for their new MPA3 billing software. All the old CCbill links will still work and should track in the MPA software under your new account number. The only problem I have found is that I can't figure out how to login to my new account. I sent a request in for a password reminder but haven't got one yet.
I will post what I was sent here: -------------------------------- You have already been sent an email with the great news about SpookyCash now utilizing Epoch's hosted MPA3 cascading billing solution and how you do not need to change a single link to enjoy the benefits. We do, however, have at least one older CCBill affiliate account for you which needs updated mailing address and payment info for you in order to make sure you keep receiving payments like clockwork for sales on that account. Please go to http://www.spookycash.com/contact.php and enter your current address and pay-to info in the affiliate support drop down under 'Affiliate Contact Update' or reply to this email with the following info: Either Old or New Affiliate ID First Name Last Name Company Name Check Name (Pay To) Street Address City State Postal Code Country Preferred Email Address At Least One URL You Promote From Apologies for any inconvenience, but this billing upgrade should mean improvements in conversions and payouts. Thanks for all your past and future support. Please feel free to use the support form or ICQ Amelia G at 337070007 if you have any questions at all. Your Old SpookyCash ID was: (had my old account# here) Your New SpookyCash affiliate ID is: (they gave me a new account # here) |
To be fair the email address i sign up with I no longer use.
but i am hoping the old links still work, but as i can ONLY see epos as payment I am guessing not. Its a shame as i do love there sites. but i realy do not have the time to keep changing links. |

thats cool i just did that. with luck i can leave things as they are. -- ps, i sent you an email to see if you can add mrban.com to your site. if not, no problem. |
Also sent the info via icq: Amelia G on ICQ at 337070007
By the way, I do not expect an instant reponse as its xmass weekend and such. Although, they could do with putting this info on there site or they may loose affiliates. And as I say i do like them (they sent me a t-shirt a bit back). |
From the looks of my stats, old links don't work anymore...

bump......................

Hello allanuk, sorry this thread slipped by us. If your email is no longer valid, I can certainly see where some confusion may have come in. All your old links do work and will continue to work. You will notice that if you click the link you provided earlier in this thread, it takes you to our hosted blog, along with your original affiliate id. You may also notice that if you click any of the links on that hosted blog to any of the sites listed, you can see your new affiliate id (107274) has been put in place of your old one. If you happen to be using the long CCBill links to SpookyCash sites, be assured that these work and credit your account as well.
Here is a link to a post where Amelia explained the process a bit more completely than I just have: http://www.gfy.com/13529664-post47.html However, if you use the SpookyCash support form, we can make sure that all your account information, including a current email address is accurately and completely in place for your account(s). Thank you for promoting SpookyCash. |

We do have an announcement at the top of the News section: SpookyCash implements true cascading billing to provide more ways to convert affiliate traffic. SpookyCash upgraded stats now offer detailed referrers, so affiliates can optimize traffic knowing precisely where clicks and joins are being sent from. Old SpookyCash linking codes still track joins in new system. But, of course, that is less detailed than what affiliates were mailed and probably less reassuring. My apologies. I can't stand it when programs change their backend and leave me to change my links, so we implemented our billing change so that AFFILIATES DO NOT NEED TO CHANGE THEIR LINKS. The login change bit was unfortunately unavoidable. On the plus side, we'll be rolling out card payments to affiliates starting in January and that should be a plus for anyone overseas from the biller locations. |
