another nats security issue
so i'm going about changing all my nats passwords, and i'm amazed at how many programs don't require email verification for this change!!!! this is insane, i dont feel safe that such a major change can happen without my knowledge.
John- this should be hardcoded for all programs, whats the point of giving this as an option? |

I've been waiting for some programs email verification as well but it never got here. Not sure it's it because the program's mail server/db is getting slammed or something else.
|
I mentioned this earlier in another thread so I agree... I don't thinkits NATs but program owners setting up the affiliate admin and not turning on the option to have changes be e-mailed to confirm - either they are:
1. Too lazy. 2. Don't care. or 3. Trying to save bandwidth... I think it should be turned on by default.... |
This is set up in all new installs as it was when they updated my proggie the last 5 times.
|
Its activated in the SatanCash backend, you must verify ANY changes made to your nats account
|
all changes to Serious Cash accounts also demand email verifying!
|
All security clearances have been made..Oh wait I'm 100% ccbill..nevermind, carry on folks

Oh wait.... :upsidedow |
my issue is that you should have to enter your old password first being giving the allowance to change the password.
|
Not sure if NATS has this, but the backend should show a "Last Logged In Date". It would help to see if someone else other than us is logging in to our account.
