The Irony of Government..

While not true in all cases, and their is exceptions to every rule. For the most part on observation,...

The rich want less government. Less regulation. Less meddling (unless it effects their bottom line, like the housing crisis). Less bureacracy and delays in change, etc.

The poor want more government. More hand outs. More "help". More protection (from themselves). More "security" and willing to give up their freedoms to accomplish that.

Essentially they want to be babysat. Then cry foul when the government's interests are bought out by the rich.

Any questions?

weird isn't it? I've had people ask me what courses I took to be a photographer, what class I took to learn to use a computer. -bmb

Here's a question... What exactly about this is ironic?

The rich like big government, too. Hell, it keeps them employed and they love to no-bid government contracts.
