I was going to sign up for their per-sign up program and i saw this in their rule "Signups won¡¦t be tracked by GAMMA if the customer refuses to be tracked (by disabling cookies). "

is that meant if the surfer turn off the cookies and he/she sign up, this sign up won't count toward me?

any idea?

From what I know, we track with cookies as well as arguments in the URL. I will get this confirm and let you know on monday.

is it possible to make a sale with ALMOST ANY affiliate program and not get credit for it - YES.

Does it happen on a regular basis - YES. - but it's a VERY VERY small percentage of total sales.

Do some Affiliates companies take advantage of it - YES.

Does Gamma do it - NOT INTENTIONALLY and if it does happen it's such a small percentage of your total sales that it isn't even worth thinking about.
They are as honest as they come.


But I don't think there is an affialiate program on the planet that hasn't had a customer or two not get properly recored due to one reason or another. Anyone who tells you their program is PERFECT is lying.
