It started out with promise but never really went anywhere. It was part The Stand and part 28 Days Later with a little bit of Blade thrown in.

What did you think of the CGI. reminded me of the first Species ( Crap )

i saw it last night and thought it was good, it reminded me of 28 days later a lot, but i thought it was cool.

There was a guy on the board yesterday looking for a "mechanical fleshy thing" to lick his anus.

Maybe if he goes to see this movie it will "suck" his ass?

I think he was just poor or something and just going for a one time payment for a lifetime of anus licking, or something, instead of hiring a crack whore each time he needed his anus licked.

I also wondered if maybe he was super fat and just too embarrassed to expose his anus to any human. Just another theory.

I thought the movie was awesome!

My basic opinion about this is - there is too much great old movies I never seen to waste time with something just because it's new.

I loved it. Thought it kept you on edge the whole time even when nothing was going on. Thought it showcased the isolation and solitude very well.

And if you have seen The Omega Man than you really appreciate what this movie accomplished. Especially if you read the book.
