Why do channels like History Channel do this?

Just watching a commercial for a new docu that they're gonna air soon about Da Vinci and it's called:

Leonardo Da Vinci: The code he lived by.

I mean, really how sad is that. It's something i'd expect a channel like that not to do.

I'm gonna write them a letter now.

That is a little hokey.

I don't get it.

Are you upset that they made a play on words related to a pop culture work?

Yeah... Gayish especially since he isn't alive anymore to sue them.

Get minusonebit on this.

I agree. Though at least they were taking a break from Hitler. I don't know about the History Channel outside of the UK but on the UK one you can pretty much always find something about Hilter.

Da Vinci means Of Vinci. Vinci was a city. It was like saying Leonardo of Vinci. Seeing a book called The Da Vinci Code made me laugh because thats like saying "The Of Vinci Code" Da Vinci is not the same thing as saying Leonardo De Vinci.

Yea but in his case "Da Vinci" refers to a persons name, and hence its used correctly in "The Da Vinci Code".
