What I want at Conventions...
 

What I really want at conventions is more networking opportunities.

For me, the best events at conventions is almost always the first event of the show, such as the GFY warm-up parties. At Internext Miami for example, everyone arrives, wide awake despite any long flights, to a room full of people but without the loud music. Not a bad, but...

The "Speed Networking" idea that someone has for Internext Vegas sounds like a pretty good idea, but I'm not there this year so I can't say if it works or not. Anyone have feedback on these?

Hopefully, convention organizers can come up with as many networking ideas as party ideas.

Speed networking is great!!!
my partner used to do those for finance/pre-ipo/ venture capital and got a lot of biz from it.
they should have an organized one at internext

Would be interesting to have something where you have 100 people enter a room and everyone has to talk to everyone about what they do... And I can see a lot of things coming out of it.

Cease and desist orders...
Copywrite infringement...
Patent infringement...
Business plan duplication...
