REBILLS...the main question...will I keep them?

Since it is too early in the morning for me to call the folks at CCbill, I thought that I'd put a post up in here.

I want to know from a REPUTABLE source what is going to happen with the rebills. I don't see why I have to lose customers who have been charged before these regulations.

And I don't want to hear from you GFY fucks that don't know anything and I don't want to hear from anybody that "used" to work for a billing company. I want to hear from an actual representative.

Everybody has been quiet on the rebills part. I also didn't see anything about it on CCbill's site. This tells me something:

If rebills are allowed, they aren't saying because a shitload of people will not hesitate to jump ship to Glo-bill. I know that I'm going to set up with them tomorrow regardless of what the answer is. I'd rather take a hit now than a bigger hit later.

So can somebody from CCbill or Epoch answer? I won't even bother asking for an Ibill representative.

I'd like to know something before I have to call later on today.

no, you cannot transfer your rebills from 3rd party processor to another 3rd party processor. essentially they are the merchants customers, not yours.

Very good question!!!

see, this is why I asked for a REPUTABLE source. You didn't even read the question right. I didn't ask anything about TRANSFERRING rebills to another processor. I was talking about EXISTING rebills that are on Visa cards.

I see I'm going to have to wait until the folks get into their offices at CCbill.

that's the problem...we're ASSUMING. I didn't see shit on CCbill's FAQ page about rebills. Somebody is hiding something. Maybe I'm too optimistic but I think that the rebills will not be affected. They're just hesitating to tell us so that we don't jump ship.

They need to say yes or no..then we can all take action as how we see fit.

From what I was told by a good source is rebills will only be effected on those accounts that don't get "on board" with the new Regs. and that is because those accts. will be terminated. but if you pay your "bribe" you shouldn't see any changes...

Please can you folks who don't know SHUT THE FUCK UP? I don't care what you "heard". And they aren't going to terminate any accounts that don't get on board. CCbill's FAQ page already stated that they will still bill for the checks and other stuff. Just not VISA.

Fuck it. I can't wait until the ccbill folks get in....cause this is BULLSHIT.

Yea...you probably should have waited until the ccbill folks got in.

Why did you post this here anyways?

Some people just never give up hope.. that's why.

Anyway: to answer BVF's question: rebills are not paid out
but donated to the 'small webmaster foundation' (swf).

It will help humble paysite owners like Gothweb pay
for their $750.

Hey Dickhead,

The discussion board, so you don't have to be a shithead to everyone that posts a response to you. Let put it elementary terms for you, If you don't pay they VISA fee, VISA won't process the rebills for you or new charges, We were talking about Visa, and basically with the new regs. it's like each person having a "account" w/visa and if you don't pay the fee you don't no soup from them! I'm sorry I didn't spell it out and put it in general grown-up terms, but I will try and spell things out for the little bitches that can't understand gereralities in the future!

That is correct. There will be no interruption in service for participating companies.
