Saw it in 2004 and wasn't impressed then either. :2 cents: Guy doesn't ring true to me sorry.

I was telling my wife on Saturday night during his victory speech that every time I hear him give a speech I feel like it's something I'm going to be telling my grandkids about....the way my mom talked about JFK and RFK.

JUSTB 01-28-2008 10:46 AM

he's a good speaker and that's about it

The Ghost 01-28-2008 11:08 AM

The Sen. Kennedy endorsement of him is on Fox news right now.

He came off well, though they are really going over the top with the RFK and MLK references. But that's what campaigning is all about, having the guise of change... which is more important than the actual change. All the promises of universal health care rub me the wrong way.

About Ted Kennedy: Someone must like him since he's the 2nd longest serving member of the senate.

I believe he has the ability to inspire America like we haven't been inspired in decades.

harry potter seems to love him

Obama is the real deal. You'd have to be incredibly cynical not to support him. I'm old enough to remember RFK and even a little of JFK firsthand. Being able to inspire people on things beyond the size of their tax break is important. Its the first time in my life I started giving money for a political cause.

Not only is Obama that good, but he has a chance. Not a great chance as Hilary's machine is incredibly well greased, but he does have a chance.

The Duck 01-28-2008 12:44 PM

He is a good liar.

Yeah because you know that Kennedy endorsement didn't help John Kerry win the nomination or anything. :helpme

Politicians are like actors who know how to use the system.

DaddyHalbucks 01-28-2008 02:04 PM

I'd take Obama over Clinton, but I would take anyone over Clinton.
