They took my id entered a bunch of info off of it into a computer and then make me sign off on it.

All for 1 box. (24 pills) 12 doses.

God forbid what if I wanted to buy 2 or 3 boxes? They might call the SWAT team on me. :mad:

Yes it's the active ingredient, pseudoephedrine, that they use.

Buy 3-4 boxes a year of the 24 hour stuff... It's the only crap that works for me, and I have sinus issues because of living in the cincinnati area. Can't wait to move the fuck out of here. It's a pain that I have to run in and see the pharmacist now, meaning I can goto the 24 hour stores late at night and pick up a box if I need it and I have run out... Sad that they have to keep it under lock and key now.

Yeah meth can be made from Sudafed but these days they're a lot easier ways of getting ephedrine than that. Chicken feed would probably be the easiest :)

My mother was visiting from FL and my SIL sent her to Sprawlmart to get some Sudafed. OMG - the way my mother complained you'd think she had been asked to sell her soul ;)

At my local CVS you have to pick it up at the front of the store (not at the pharmacy for some odd reason) and sign your name.

Being in a rural area we are plagued by meth labs. If this helps, I don't mind the minor inconvenience.

actually in NY limit you to two boxes at any one time but nothing stops you from going from one store to another not saying anything about the other store purchase :thumbsup
they do this because drug dealers in the past used the stuff to convert it to real drugs so they though limiting it would make a difference.
if i am a drug dealer i get a bunch of boys to go from town to town and store to store to buy them.
after all people do get colds and allergies.
govenment penalizes the people who need the stuff making it hard for them to get it and leave loophools for real drug dealers to get the stuff.

Ya, it's a pain in the ass. Well, Apache Junction and deep Mesa are like a tweaker mecca out here or something. All kinds of shit like sudafed are off the shelfs now and the bastards in the pharmacy always sound like they assume I'm cooking up some meth, but I was just one box of Sudafed short.

Meanwhile, I'm coughing up a lung with a 100 degree temp barely staying awake where I'm standing because I'm sick as shit.
