What was your best subject in school?

Mine was journalism and political science/history/geography (often the same class that was broken into chunks through the year).

Anything math based was my downfall.

After Shock Media 02-06-2008 04:29 AM

Creative writing *limited class, otherwise history/social studies. Also did well and liked science and home economics though that was an elective.

ADL Colin 02-06-2008 04:34 AM

All math classes I'd say especially the easier ones like calculus and differential equations. Worst was probably foreign languages.

ADL Colin 02-06-2008 04:36 AM

Actually writing classes were the easiest but not sure if that makes them my "best subject".

Damian_Maxcash 02-06-2008 04:45 AM

The sciences - Bioligy was number 1.....

I have never been able to spell. I got 100% in English comprehension and about 60% in written. Its just laziness though.

Theater and history, I sucked at anything to do with math.

Syl 02-06-2008 09:05 AM

I loved Math, but as I got further on in school and things started getting more difficult it went downhill. I'd have to say the typing class I took for an easy A ended up being the most valuable for me.

bobby666 02-06-2008 09:09 AM

my best subject was physics and my teacher sometimes left the classroom and allowed me to continue her lesson - sometimes she was just sitting in the last row and correcting homework while i did the lesson

my worst was music, although i was playing the piano on the rocky horror pictureshow performance of our schoolband

Scott McD 02-06-2008 09:12 AM

P.E. of course. Fucking hated everything else... :1orglaugh

Brother Bilo 02-06-2008 09:14 AM

Math, history, and hydroponics. What's weird is that the better at hydroponics I got, the worse I got at math and history. Never could figure it out.

Physics, Maths, History, English, German.

I attended the 8 year Gymnasium instead of the classic high school and I doubt I was really bad in anything though, if I cared about the subject I didn't have any problems with grades.

Once I was at 5 which is an equivalent of E as the worst mark you can get from Chemistry at the half year, then I took a bit of an effort and I got B at the end of the year, which never happened at the school before.

The only thing I always had trouble with was the discipline - there was NEVER a year after I was 13 I wouldn't get a grade down or at least something as to be "on parole".

I guess I could kick most of the ass there, even they tried to look WAY MORE intellectually gifted - I hated 95 pct. of those pseudo intelligent idiots who were at the "premium" school with me, and they felt that, I didn't really made almost any friends there.

I did gymnasium too but in a school that was mixed with athenaeum classes. It's never really struck me that people were bigheaded about being in this "premium" part of the school.

Great trip to Rome in one of the higher grades!

I am learning that a lot of you had subjects rather different than offered at my school.

sue 02-06-2008 02:39 PM

Hmm,

Swedish is my native language, sucked at it in school. What is strange though is that I have taken english, greek, spanish, french and chinese classes and did great. So I have to say foreign languages:-)

*hugs and kisses*

Sid70 02-06-2008 03:25 PM

chemistry. sex chemistry. :)

dynastoned 02-06-2008 03:50 PM

Violetta 02-06-2008 04:00 PM

gym... lol

whomework 02-06-2008 09:15 PM

Math was my best subject. English and History made me sleepy. Especially when the history teacher could have possibly been teaching from experience.

I got an A for the year in Gym class by buying the coach a hat. I never had to show up for that class again. LOL.

MandyBlake 02-06-2008 09:28 PM

my best subject was math.
my worst subject was science.

Spunky 02-06-2008 09:31 PM

Calico Jack 02-06-2008 10:34 PM

English and geography.

D 02-06-2008 10:40 PM

Math/Philosophy.

Also dig on the sciences.

But those are only what I find most interesting. As far as what I do "best" in, I've yet to find the subject I can't tackle. Still nailing down a near-4.0 as my education continues.
