Actually this statement makes no sense. Bush comes from a lineage of very powerfull ancestors. His dad is still one of the most powerfull men in the world. Obama has nowhere near the backing or power behind him. Its almost a joke how different the two are in that sense.

In less than 20 years, 50% of Americans will be mixed race, or black, asian, or hispanic. Maybe when you live on an Island, where everyone is basically the same, and maybe a little too inbred (IMHO), a black president is shocking to you, but most Americans don't care about ethnicity anymore.
