I don't this big influx of bands with young kids in them that scream unintelligibly, then do little harmonic parts where they sound like a boy band.

Even the music itself is kinda lame, sounds like something overprocessed too much in ProTools. If you didn't know better you'd think all these bands recorded their album at the same studio using the same guitar, tuned the exact same way.

I guess I am getting old though, so what do I know. There's not many new bands coming out lately that I do like, so I guess I am just turning into a crusty old fart.

I know what you mean and you are right but for some reason i dont think it applies to them. I think theyre better than the latest trend of bands doing what you explained...and there are a tons of them lately. I guess I am getting old though, so what do I know.
