people who cant pay get foreclosed on thats the problem, lots of foreclosures. u can get lucky u can get unlucky with those.

Has anyone had any luck buying a house for MUCH less than it would have cost 18 months ago?

me personally, no, but my BF's aunt got a killer deal on a house less than a year old. I've only been there once so I didn't really get a feel for the square footage or anything but it's two floors, custom paint, papers and floors... Good part of town, suburban, 4 bedrooms two and a half, maybe three baths. It was around 100K.

I bought my house in Michigan for 50k less than the asking price. Appraised 60K higher than I paid.


However my house in Vegas wont sell for shit. Anyone Interested?
