Obama vs Clinton - Why it matters
Obama has gained the support of millions of voters who really want big changes in Washington. His supporters are very diverse, but they also include an amazing number of young and black voters who are finally excited about this election.
If Hillary wins there will be a big vacuum in the party, and the voter turn out on the Democratic side will be greatly reduced. If Obama wins he will get most the Hillary supporters as well, and the Democrats will win. Many Obama people will feel disenfranchised if Clinton wins, and a good number of them will just stay home, rather than vote for the Washington insider that defeated their "candidate for change". Now that Ron Paul is clearly out, Obama is the only hope we have to change the status quo. If you are a Republican then you will hope Hillary wins, as it is your only chance to stay in power. You will see Fox Noise kissing up to Hillary, and supporting her more and more as we get closer to the election. The right wingnuts in this country are hoping Hillary wins, because if Obama wins there really will be change. Just my opinion anyway... |
