Everything is for sale at a price. I'd sell PL, but the price would be ridiculous. Then again, it may make sense to you? Been around a long time and the SERPs have been good and just barley OK depending mostly on the whim of Google. You have the staff and $ to make it more than it is. Don't bother unless you are willing to part with a six figure offer. Go seven figures and it will be a very short negotiation.

The number of figures aren't what matter to me. The number I'm interested in is what multiple of your average monthly net revenue you are looking for :thumbsup

I own/run http://www.youngchickz.com, but the TGP itself doesn't get much traffic. The domain is very old though. Nevertheless, if I wanted to sell it I highly doubt that anyone would give me anything good money wise haha

Bout 100 times, but there is more to the value that what I did with it. Told ya it was ridiculous. I will do a redesign and put some effort into it to make it pay more for me. Know how, just have to do it. Even at that, it wouldn't be what you could do with it. Good luck shap, don't want to waste your time. But geeze, when someone comes along with your stated budget, would be foolish not to speak up.

Tempting.... very tempting..... but not today... I like working on my sites too much and seeing month over month increases in revenue and traffic :)

And the frustrating thing for people like me, who'd like to one day get out and retire, is that someone would never pay what our stuff is really worth :-(

I'm the biggest player by far in my niche, which means a competitor wouldn't be able to buy me. And if there was ever interest from someone outside the niche, they'd be trying to set a price by multiples, when that wouldn't even come close to approaching what the business is worth.

It's particularly frustrating since the business would be worth even *more* to someone with the assets to do what I do without having to pay a premium for content, etc. - the gross revenue would come a lot closer to equalling the net revenue - but people set prices based on net revenue. And no one outside the niche world would even factor in the brand loyalty/consistency of niche customers or the effect that has on year-to-year revenue.

Basically, it means that the business is worth a lot to me, but not very much to anyone else. When my accountant asked me about an exit strategy, I told him that it "I'll stop when I decide to stop and have a fire sale," since I could probably never find a buyer who'd pay more than 20-25% of my annual gross :disgust

You should either kill taking submissions or actually review what you're listing. It's so obvious from the urls. I could see it without clicking any of the galls that 90% of the lot are from cheating bastards.
