Time Warner Cable must have the fastest DNS
 

I'm using Time Warner cable and when I reg a new domain and point it to my server it resolves at my index page in less than 2 minutes.

I say less then 2 minutes because I never checked it less than 1 minute!!!

It takes longer if the domain is already being used and resolving at another server but still happens for me in just a few hours.


I have no idea why I needed to post this but maybe somebody cares. :1orglaugh

Yeah thats true, they do update faster and faster these days it seems. Used to be couple days, then a day, half a day, couple hours, couple minutes.. pretty soon they'll just email you that they've bought you some domains and they're all set, lol.

As long as one of the domains they buy me is sex.com and let me pay in
installments then it's ok by me. :)

I have my server nameserver domain hosted at Namecheap. Any new domains I buy at Namecheap resolve instantly.
