give your body 1 hour to digest and refresh after you eat before you hit the gym...after your workout you should really take in some protein to grow, repair, your muscles...optimal time is right after you workout to 45 mins...and if you really wanna get good gains add in L-glutamine with the protein. That is if you are having protein shakes (if you like chocolate, get Muscle Milk choc. Milk)
