Call Your Mother!!!!

Yes, many of us knew that Mama C was sick but that still does not make it any easier. If you are one of us that are lucky enough to still have their Mother in their lives, take a minute and call her just to say "Hi".

She will love it and you will love yourself for it.

You are right and I call mine once a week and try to see them at least once a week. I end every phone call with I love you with every member of my family because you never know.

candyflip 02-18-2008 06:17 PM

I talk to my moms daily. My girl's mom is in fighting cancer right now. We just found out that she has tumors all over her body. Sucks to see someone so young have to fight and live like that.

miss_jody 02-18-2008 06:47 PM

NosMo 02-18-2008 06:51 PM

My mom, my sister and my nieces are the reason I moved back to Montreal after living away for over 5 years.

Got a new saying which will be tattooed soon on my body.

"Family First"

I'm glad I made the move 1 year ago and blessed I spend time with my family like I do now.

Furious_Male 02-18-2008 06:58 PM

You scared me I thought it was Mothers day :winkwink:

On a serious note I call my mother almost daily.

HAPPYPEEKERS 02-18-2008 07:09 PM

That is so very sad :-(

RIP Mama C

VeriSexy 02-18-2008 07:22 PM

Me and my mom, get along well

Diligent 02-18-2008 07:48 PM

Word to our mothers!

wyldblyss 02-18-2008 07:57 PM

I tell that to people all of the time. No matter your differences, no matter how naggy or weird or bothersome she is.....even if she is fantastic but you just never have the time. CALL her...call your dad and your siblings while you are at it.

Having lost all of my grandparents, both of my parents, and my brother, trust me, i would rather pick up a phone and chat them up than to go to a cemetery and tell them how much I miss them

it won't take much time for us but will give her a little happiness!!! we shouldn't forget about our parents - people who gave us a birth and brought us up! i wish health to all parents in the world :)

mattz 02-19-2008 01:31 AM

No need to call, I'll run upstairs and say Hi, I live in her basement.

I spoke to mine yesterday, but I will probably call her again tomorrow.

LiveDose 02-19-2008 05:49 PM

I lost my Dad 3 years ago... I speak to my Mom almost everyday even just to say 'hi'. We have always had a close relationship so I feel very fortunate.

Never take a Mom for granted.

Fap 02-19-2008 05:58 PM

bump for mother love

Spunky 02-19-2008 05:59 PM

I feel like such a selfish son ..

Thanks, nice thread! That's really sweet for you to open this topic. ;)

judycash 02-20-2008 02:33 AM

And if you don't have your own mom go find one you like other peoples moms like it too. I talk to the bf's mom almost everyday

Eva PSC 02-20-2008 02:48 AM

My mom lives in UK and it is tough to see her often, i usually go there twice a year, but try to speak weekly on the phone.

lhizy_05 02-20-2008 03:46 PM

I've always call my mom... i really missed my mother!!!:(:waaaaahh

SykkBoy 02-20-2008 05:03 PM

Luckily, my mother only lives about 6-7 minutes away from me.

I still talk to my ex-mother-in-law once a week as well

Warren 02-20-2008 05:32 PM

Growing up, it was the most feared thing of my life, losing my mom, this thread makes a lot of sence and gives me a real feeling of sorrow for my friends, who have who have already lost there mom, really the only woman in life, who matters.

halfpint 02-20-2008 05:39 PM

Always call my mom and visit as often as possible even though she drives me bats.. specially after my dad died when I was 18
