Fire, applied liberally.

There are also some concealing products she can get at any costume/theater/production type shop.

Mehron is a good brand. Used regularly. Got to find the right color for the skin tone. With the time spent to make it truly disappear... It'd be cheaper in the long run to have it removed. Yeah, I know it costs thousands and thousands, and is painful. FXsupply.com

tank top as a uniform? i gotta know what company this is!!!

she doesn't want to remove it. its a really nice 1/4 sleeve. she is working part time at hooters and they can't show tatts at all there. I told her to work another place but she said she makes good money there and its worth covering a few nights a week ....

Bare minerals would work, but would take quite a few layers. There is some stage makeup that will cover it too, but might show through by end of a long workday.

Where are you getting your make-up advice from? bareMinerals is a sheer powder. It's not going to cover a tattoo, no matter how many "layers" you put on.

I'm actually sort of worried that you even know what bareMinerals is, lol.

Stay away from that crap, only thing that will remove a tattoo is lazer right now.

Fap 02-24-2008 11:25 AM

where does she work where a tank top is the dress code? .. hooters?

RevSand 02-24-2008 11:41 AM

Last time I was at hooters our server had some big ass bandages on her upper back on both sides and like 5 sweat bands on her wrists all to cover tats... I didnt understand it, she would have look much better without the bandages and not look like a accident victim.

I don't get it either .. she has some very nice work on her shoulder and to cover it just seems odd. I see all types of girls working in Hooters and i would think some would like a girl with a few tatts. I guess it stops them from letting one girl show hers and another that has something offensive not. i guess that could be an issue ..

I do our onset makeup, and yes it will cover. Covers dark moles with ease. And Ive used it to cover tats also. Instead of hiring a girl to come in and do it, and hoping she shows up, I just learned how to do it. Its not that hard. Yes I can do hair too. lol

I had Dana here at home to practice on thank God. lol Had some Dvds with full tutorials and step by step stuff. Makeup artists tend to be as flakey or more flakey then models at times, so better off just learning to do it. Only problem now is Dana constantly wants me to do her makeup now. lol :Oh crap

minniesoporno 02-25-2008 07:24 AM

I said dermablend hello Ia m black with 3 giant tats on my back. maybe yall didn't listen to me because I didn't post the website for it.

I use it to cover up my birth mark.

geedub 02-25-2008 07:28 AM

if they dont like tats they shouldnt of hired her

Are you talking about bareMinerals powder foundation by Sephora?? Because that's what I use and there's no way in hell it would cover a tattoo. I have it mixed/matched at the Sephora store and it does provide good coverage for a powder, but the whole point is that it's not heavy like liquid foundation. Just to be sure, I went and got mine and tried to cover a mole on my arm, but after several layers, I could still pretty much see it. Maybe you have some kind of concealer stuff.

So what kind of hair products are you using? Do you flat iron? :1orglaugh

This works well I have heard. The best thing is to never get a tat that you cannot cover with clothing so when you you need to get a real job, you won't lose the hire because of it, unless you plan to be a truck driver or work in fast food or construction you whole life.

Lmao we have the whole bare minerals line, not just one product. There is a concealer that you put down first. Yes its all powder makeup. Why do you think its recommended to people with scars, Rosacea, birth marks, and that weird light and dark skin stuff?

Its light, has really good concealment, and doesnt look like someone slung mud on your face.

I have short hair so no need for a flat iron. :winkwink:

Monique Niccole 02-25-2008 10:13 AM

Go with Dermablend. I've used it for years to cover skin discolorations or scars. It works VERY well.

pornguy 02-25-2008 10:19 AM

If it had been for you. I would have said a car. :)

But for her, No idea.
