Did you attend a single gender school, or do you send your own kids to one?
This story got me thinking about it.
*Sparks Fly Over Single Gender Education in Georgia* "Next fall, public schools in Greene County may be the first to implement single-sex education. By separating students by gender, educators hope to improve low test scores, and cut down on teen pregnancy and disciplinary issues, which trouble most of the school system in that rural district" The story is here if you are interested: http://abcnews.go.com/WN/story?id=4306768&page=1 Did anyone here on attend an all girls or all boys school? Does anyone send their own children to one? I might consider sending my own children to one during the middle & high school years. But then don't they just go crazy in college? :Oh crap |
Yes. They do go crazy. Since most of my models went to all girls catholic school I say this can only be good news for us shooters in a few years once they start turning 18.
No, but I know that my mother went to an all girl school in her youth. She turned out just fine it seems. Used to be pretty commonplace and no cause for concern.
I think that it's a bad way for a boy/girl to learn proper social skills with the other sex. A bunch of 12 year old boys stuck together in a school with nothing to look at, is prison.
I think it might be a good idea. I probably woulda gotten a higher grade in some of my high school classes if it wasn't for certain fellow classmates taking my attention. :winkwink:
It'd also encourage kids to become more active, as extra-curricular activities would be the main outlet for meeting members of the opposite sex. Conversely, same-sex locker-room gang-bangs could see an increase in occurrences. |
I attended an all girls catholic school and it was the best 4 years of my life!!!!:winkwink:
