Don't send any money!

If they can afford to hire you then they can afford to get the housing for you and deduct it from your salary.

Drake 02-26-2008 01:17 PM

lol that's crazy

Paco, of Large Cash. 02-26-2008 01:18 PM

I say it is identity theft for the purpose of credit fraud. The last line should be a clear indication. How's Engrish the??

A similar ad was posted for CanadaPost. Surprisingly, a lot of people (applicants) quite easily remitted ALL the important information (SIN/SSN, drivers license, DOB, etc) even though the only thing that had CanadaPost's name on it was the logo. The rest was false.

They even placed ads in news papers.

Or they're part of money laundering scams: you facilitate banking transactions on behalf of others to clean their cash.

pornguy292 02-26-2008 02:50 PM

You should just pay them

What do you know? :winkwink:

germ 02-26-2008 03:43 PM

They'll send you a check, to be deposited in your US bank account. They'll explain that they need US citizens to do so because of some restrictions. That will be your "job".

Then, they'll send you a phony check. Lets just say its for $10,000. They'll then ask you to deposit that check, and wire them $8,000 and the remaining 2 is yours to keep.

Sound familiar yet? Can you say...Nigeria?

Persius 02-26-2008 03:44 PM

Phil 02-26-2008 03:45 PM

VeriSexy 02-27-2008 07:34 PM

The sad part is, many will fall for it

helic0pter 02-27-2008 07:44 PM

Yep, definitely just another scam. It's truly amazing how many uninformed people there are out there who fall for stuff like this. Scammers get more and more creative and deceptive by the day and fuck more and more people over.

woj 02-27-2008 08:13 PM

collegeboobies 02-27-2008 08:17 PM

Simple, everyone gets the job and has to send in a deposit. 50% send it in.
