CCbill ? : "Payments for Rebills End After: (Zero) rebills"

Quote:

Payout Percent: 50.00%

Trial Subscriptions: Payments for Rebills End After: (Zero) rebills Recurring Subscriptions: Payments for Rebills End After: (Zero) rebills
I recall this from a while ago but cannot remember for sure. Usually it states unlimited when rebills are always counted. Am I correct in assuming that this means a webmaster will NOT be paid for any rebills sent to the program?

Nasty 03-03-2008 01:25 PM

Your correct, what sponsor is this?

st0ned 03-03-2008 01:25 PM

Wow wtf? Is that for a specific program or CCBill in general?

Nookster 03-03-2008 01:27 PM

You are correct sir. I've found quite a few cheating sponsors abusing that ccbill option. What program is it?

st0ned 03-03-2008 01:28 PM

Fuck I guess I need to start reading the terms as I generally always do revshare :\

Pigtail Cuties Affiliate Program
http://www.pigtailcuties.com/affiliateinfo.htm

He doesn't state explicitly that affiliates get credit for rebills. But It says this:

Quote:

As an affiliate of Pigtail Cuties you earn 50% of all sales you refer to us!
Our Pigtail Affiliate Program is managed by a third party, CCBill. This ensures you an honest program that pays what you deserve on time. No worries about getting ripped off from your sales. Our Affiliate Partners are really cashing in on the success of Pigtail Cuties. Even our competitors have signed up with us!
So I cannot say that he is "cheating" but he certainly isn't advertising the lack of rebill credit either.

FYI- I also verified that as of now the only regular CC billing option is a $29.95 rebilling option.

Thanks for the info everyone. I will NOT be sending traffic at this time. :thumbsup

In ccbill go to the tools page and then click "View program details".

Each CCbill sponsor can set the option for themselves. Most are honest and very up front about it. This is the first one I have found like this in years where a question existed.

the information used to not be visible to affiliates but years ago CCbill began providing the information to affiliates in the stats lounge so that they could check it on their own.

I would call that cheating. If they were doing PPS then they would be stating you an amount you are going to be paid per signup ie $45 not half of a $29.99 one time charge.....:321GFY

By the way please feel free to spam me with some other CCbill sponsors who DO give credit for rebills. :upsidedow

Thanks.

Bad news is that I don't see one I can use because the traffic is pickey and will not respond unless the site is mainly pigtail themed. :(

But the good news is I am already promoting your Jeans and Panties site and have some plans for that one. :thumbsup

I think 0 rebills mean unlimited rebills, a non 0 value is non limited rebills

I heard that a while back as well. I guess we should get an authoritive answer from someone at ccbill. Anyone from ccbill reading this?

StarkReality 03-04-2008 05:15 PM

Yay, an official statement would be great, it's the first program I ever see using this weird option...

Lace 03-04-2008 05:44 PM

Could always use Hundies with their PigtailsRoundAsses.com :thumbsup

signupdamnit 03-19-2008 03:05 PM

CCbill, can we have an answer in public to settle this once and for all?

Perhaps call or email them.

That might work. But then what about the other 15,000 ccbill affiliates ??

I googled and I found a post on another board where a ccbill rep claimed that it means NO CREDIT (I can't link to the board per the rules). I have another post from webmasters which say they were receiving credit despite the (zero) rebill status. Then there are other posts from people who have claimed to have called ccbill and received different answers in response to the question.

Let's end it once in for all in public with an authorative source. Not just a third party claim. :2 cents:
