None of the big shops care. I use printplace.com and as long as you know how to set up the artwork, it comes out perfect every time. If the colors are super mission critical, get a hardcopy proof.

Absolutely, especially since allamerican2003 seems to refer to some more expensive multicolor stuff. They may bitch around if you want 50 black and white business cards on their cheapeast paper, because it's a waste of time for them, but certainly not if you make them good money.
