At least according to Quantcast GFY more GFY users make 0-30k per year than any other income block.

http://www.quantcast.com/search.jsp?domain=gfy.com

I found another adult WM board that's largest block was 60-100k

Now, how in the hell do they come up with these numbers? Seriously... While I believe wholeheartedly that GFY's for the most part don't make shit, I doubt even more that some website can have a true knowledge.

It's even more obvious that their information isn't very accurate when it lists GFY and its other forms way under some other boards we know are inferior..

So what does this all mean? WTF is the purpose of Quantcast and like sites if they're pulling numbers seemingly out of thin air?

Their traffic numbers seem to be on par with alexa and such, but knowing the INCOMES of people?? How?

Enlighten me, pls.

one guess, and I am going on a "whim" here is that i.p. location is that if you are in an affluent area, they class you on the average wage earned in that area.

But like I said, totally a whim.

translation of their last explanation: we're guessing

What information do you collect?

We observe anonymous records of visits to internet destinations. For a portion of these observations, we have certain information, such as the age, gender or income level of the internet visitor and/or their household. This group is called a panel and forms one aspect of our analysis and reporting methodology.

We also analyze internet log records which include information such as the page viewed and the IP (internet protocol) address used to access the page.

Theses stats makes like zero sence when I look at my website. I have access to all the demographic data since 95 % of my user base is registered.

and I'm not talking about a small site, I'm doing nearly 3 million page viewed a day.

You mean "online income" only, right? I have no trouble believing that.
