Cooooool... Netflix now has unlimited instant viewing.

No cap on the time you spend on Netflix Instant Viewing anymore.

They must have changed that in the last month or two. Used to be they'd cap you at 1 hour per dollar spent on membership per month.

And they recently encoded a bunch more DVD's, too. sweet.

Blockbuster is sooo much better....you can return movies to their stores and get another movie for free!

When I shopped the two, I went with Netflix because of variety. Simple as that.

You 'might' find everything in the AFI's top 100 in Blockbuster... but, aside from those and new releases, you're not gonna find a lot more - at least when I checked... and you're sure as hell not gonna find those less popular flicks. There might be that store pick-up thing... but one of the reason I went to mail-order to begin with was because I never made it to the store... and Blockbuster also doesn't have the Internet viewing.

In hard-copy, Netflix has most things released on DVD... and my fiancee digs the old flicks, so it was really a no-brainer for us.

While their warehouse selection rocks (the USPS-mail portion of your subscription), Netflix Instant Viewing is still in its infancy... the selection there s really limited right now... but they're adding new stuff regularly... seems to be a work in progress... probably having a hard time getting the major studios to sign off on it. Can only run it through IE, too... which is kinda meh. But, now it seems you can stream things 24/7 for no additional cost.

I think they both offer free trials, though... so check 'em out yourself.

Thanks man..

I try not to download movies and watch them too often.. but if I could just log-in and watch stuff it would be so much easier..
