This is such a cool idea, I think it will do well:winkwink:

I don't ride skateboards or I would buy one.:thumbsup

Living at the beach I do skateboard, I can see as a good idea for students:thumbsup

i can't see that having the pop of a wood board. might be ok for riding if you strictly cruise, but i doubt its any good for someone looking to do any tricks on it. you might as well just buy a longboard if that's your thing. not having a solid board makes it hard to replicate the same responsiveness. it's just not a structurally sound i guess you could say. prior makes a splitboard snowboard for backcountry touring, essentially it slits down the middle and your bidnings cli back onto them as skis, so you can skin like the skiers do. i was looking at getting one if i stayed in the mountains for a full season f riding this year, but i didn't get to this season. i questioned the responsiveness of the board, and a couple people i know have tried them, to which their response was that they still need some work done before they will be the same as a one piece board...

Maybe for kids that like to roll but this is very unlikely to work for any street skater.

Cool idea maybe, but not practical.

Just buy a Skate Backpack and you're ready to go

Wood. It needs to be wood for me. Perfect flex, feels, looks, natural. It's all about the wood.

extreme lameness. rollerblades, razor, segway, this...

That is pretty cool

I paid around $150 complete. I let my American bulldog pull me down the Strand
(Sidewalk next to the beach)on the weekends.

I'm also skeptical on how strong it would be.

i'm sure it's strong, but i highly doubt it snaps or responds at all like a wooden deck would, which equals zero value to any street skater.

if you want to see REAL innovation in boardsports, check out the freeboard. i was rocking out on one of these last summer and they are badass...

i missed the winter season in the mountains, which killed me inside this year. but i'm heading back in april/may, so i'm icking u a new freeboard and looking to break some bones...

Its cool, but im all about old school 80's boards..

Looks pretty cool...now they just need to make a mountain bike version
