Quick Blog 'Theme' question...
You know the default theme that comes installed with wordpress?
Well is there a 'wider' version of the same default look and layout? You know, same layout and basic look, but just designed for wider or widescreen monitors? |
I think you can edit the settings for that...
|
Do you know which settings need to be edited?
|
take a look at the style.css
|
You can play around with some tags in the stylesheet to accomplish that. Mess with width attributes for IDs page, header, narrowcolumn, widecolumn, footer to get the look you want.
|
This is a little more detailed. I'm tired but if you need help, you can ICQ me tomorrow.
in style.css: #page, #header, and #footer control the width of the outline of the template. #narrowcolumn and #widecolumn will dictate how wide the blog text will go. narrowcolumn is the setting for when the sidebar is visible and widecolumn is the setting for when it isn't. |

there's a mod kubrick theme that is 3 column widget ready also you can pick up

Thanks to all who replied :)
