Some Big Losers in the Stock Market Today!!!!
 

Bear Stearns from $30.00 to $4.95 (still a good buy at $2/share for JP Morgan)
Lehman Bros. from $39.26 to $31.75 (went as low as $20.25 during the day)
MF Global from $17.35 to $6.20 (went as low as $3.64)

MF Global says, "Our clients continue to show strong support, and our counterparty relationships are sound." That sounds a lot like what Bear Stearns was saying last week.

ive been tanking for last few weeks

I have been taking physical possession (BTW, they are packaged up like freaking Ft. Knox - I swear it takes a chainsaw to get it open). In gold, I've bought some oz bars as well as some grams, some 2.5 grams and some 5 grams.

Silver I have some 10 oz and some 1 oz bars.

Mostly I have them "just in case". If you're really buying for investments I'd stick with the higher weights. I wish I had bought a lot more larger amounts as investments as these will be used if the dollar gets worse and I can use them for pay or to give to my nieces for birthday and Christmas gifts for the next few years :thumbsup

Everything I've bought has been bars - no coins. What's interesting is some of the silver bars - they are from all over including ones with camels and Arabic writing on them!!

did you ever try to sell any ? i wonder how you would go about that.. i am probably gonna stick to suisse gold bars only.. would hate to have to send it fedex to them when selling..what if the damn thing is lost..
