Protecting content - illegal file sharing

Hey guys!

Was thinking about creating a private area where webmasters can login and see illegally posted porn files from their sites. Getting RSS feeds from porn forums from all around the net and creating filters with your sites name. What do you reckon? Sound like a good idea or not? That way we can react faster. Maybe I could make a mail form so you can automatically send a pre-written mail to rapidshare or where ever the files are hosted to get them down asap.

Just an idea, please dont flame. If you have any other ideas or suggestions let me know. I know that this won't make a huge difference but every bit counts.

I guess nobody liked my idea?

forums that post copyrighted stuff have RSS?

nice idea but how would you bypass all the logins and approvals

DutchTeenCash, usually they have rss feeds, otherwise I can make a spider that gets all the content.

Exactly. But would webmasters use this? I dont mind making something like this for free and offering webmasters to use it for free, but would be a shame to put work into something that wouldnt be used. Would love feedback from others too. If I get some more positive comments I will start programming. Would ofcourse need to protect the area, have webmasters email me for a login to protect it against surfers. :upsidedow

Well, started programming this. :)

The problem is that most sites dont seem to care anymore about having stolen content. All kinds of new tricks to deal with DMCA's and most producers dont have the money to take copyright issues through legal channels.

There needs to be another solution....

Sam, nice fucking idea. Proactive and practical.

If you push forward with it, please let me know when its done.
